Coalville Swimming Club has been at the forefront of swimming in Leicestershire for the past 50 years and has an enviable reputation for producing some of the top swimmers in both Leicesterhire and the Midlands.

In order to meet the ever changing demands of sport, Coalville are actively supporting the North West Leicestershire District Council Swimming Strategy, which in partnership with all swimming providers in the district aims to give opportunities for all swimmers to reach their full potential in whatever water based activity they choose. Through this partnership Coalville SC provide a well structured and progressive teaching and training program designed to motivate and bring out the best in young swimmers who wish to pursue a career in competitive swimming.

Membership will be offered to talented 8 year old and upwards or by recommendation through the NWLDC Learn to Swim Scheme and swimmers will be prepared for the 'Diddy Swimming Galas', which the Club enter.

Coalville were up against some great clubs, eventually finishing in third place behind City of Peterborough B & overall winners Kettering.

November 2nd saw the Diddy Team travel to Melton to compete in the final round of the Reliant League against old rivals Melton, Hinckley & Leicester Neptune.  Coalville finished in second place  behind Melton, who were crowned overall champions.

Coalville hosted the Birley Trophy Gala at Hermitage Leisure Centre, where they competed against Hinckley and Market Harborough ...
